A Bit about Gauge Sizing & You

I ended up buying these to replace some acrylic piercings in my cartilage, and unlike the other guy I know that regular post earrings are 20g, and these are most definitely NOT 20g piercings. These are two steps up from 20g, so if you’re trying to shove them into a standard pierced hole you are going to hurt yourself. If you don’t know how gauging works, read up a bit on the internet so you don’t buy something you can’t wear comfortably.

As for the product itself, it’s well put together, and the steel is smooth, with no bumps or grooves that could irritate your piercing. One of my earrings was normal, with the post on the side with the star, and the other had the post on the side without – I had to put it in backwards, which isn’t a big deal to me, but might be to someone else. My holes have been stretched to 16g, so they went in just fine and I’ve got no pain or weirdness coming out of the hole after wearing them most of the week. They’re nice and shiny, and the star really pops surrounded by black. Since they’re entirely metal, they can be autoclaved (provided you take the little rubber rings off first, naturally).

I was initially a little hesitant to buy earrings off of Amazon, but at these prices with prime I decided to take a chance. Glad I did.

Better then expected.

Honestly for the price I was thinking this would be light weight, cheapies. To my surprise these are very sturdy, nice earings. I didn’t have much trouble putting these in, evem though I just have reg. 20g peircings, I think this might be b/c I have had them peirced so long. They look great,and all my buddies thought I got real gauges. Now i might have to since I like the look of these so much lol

These are fantastic!!! They are slightly larger than I anticipated, but look so great. I got them for Christmas and haven’t taken them off YET! Great look, great finish. I like that the backs thread on and not just push on. I don’t worry about them falling off and getting lost.
